So in Love

Anthony is so beautiful and we are falling in love with him more everyday!! He is eating more and had a hearing test this morning and everything is looking great!
Last night was a long night full of crying and feeding but it is hard be grumpy when you have such a  sweet face looking up at you!
Heather has been up and walking around the last two days. We expect to be discharged on Saturday!

Anthony Michael Murphy has Arrived!!

Our precious son was born at 3 AM November 3, 2010. He weighed 9lbs 8 oz and measured 20 inches long.

Around 9 PM, we thought that there may be a possibilty that he would be born naturally but this became a little difficult and uncomfortable for both birth mom and baby. When it was found that that little progress had been made for a natural birth, our Doctor decided that the best decision for birth mom and baby was to immediately have a c - section. And then....WA-LA...baby!!!!

To quote a friend.... "And so it begins!!"

We are almost there!! Heather was admitted tonight. She will be started on pitocin in the morning. We are excited, scared, nervous, anxious, and just plain ready to be mommies!!!!
